Happy Monday everyone! As this is getting posted I will probably be on my way to my Rhode Island adventure. I can’t wait to enjoy some quality time with my boyfriend as well as see some fantastic historical sites. However, I couldn’t resist taking part in this week’s Goodreads Monday to highlight a series that I’m currently enjoying.

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme where anyone can choose to highlight a book from their Goodreads TBR. This meme was originally created by Lauren’s Page Turners

Plot Summary:

The Fair Isle Trilogy is a complete series collection, featuring three full length novels in a single volume: To Carve a Fae Heart, To Wear a Fae Crown, and To Spark a Fae War.

The three full-length novels included in this single volume are:

To Carve a Fae Heart
Forced to marry a cruel fae king, Evelyn Fairfield must do what it takes to fulfill the treaty and keep her people safe. But can she do her duty without losing her heart?

To Wear a Fae Crown
Evelyn was supposed to despise the king, not fall in love with him. And when the human and fae councils turn against her and her beloved, she has so much more to fight for…and more to lose.

To Spark a Fae War
With the truth of Evelyn’s heritage exposed, the line between friend and foe is blurred. War looms and only she can stop it…or start it. Evelyn and her mate must make a final stand against the force that threatens the lives of everyone they love (Tessonja Odette.com, 2021)

Comments:

I had to highlight this series, because both the story and the art in this book is fantastic. I finished “To Carve a Fae Heart” and have been savoring “To Wear a Fae Crown”. I’m always down for a story featuring the fae, because they always make such delightfully complicated characters. It’s so easy to label them as evil, but their actions often have more complex rationals. I also love the enemies to lovers trope and the tension between Evie and Aspen is just delicious. And the outfits in this story make me wish that they were real. Stay tuned for a full review of the series once I finish hopefully sometime early next week.
