The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling Mini Review

I finished the Ex Hex back in October. I can definitely say that if you are looking for a light witchy read then this is the perfect book for you.

The Ex Hex is the story of Vivienne “Vivi”, a witch and history professor living in the small town of Glenn Graves. Nine years ago she and her cousin Gwen unknowingly cast a curse on Rhys, the guy who broke Vivi’s heart. Now Rhys is back in town and the curse is putting him and the entire town in grave danger It’s up to Vivi to save Rhys and the town while hopefully not getting her heart broken again in the process.

This book is perfect light reading for the fall season. It is a cozy small town romance with a bit of magic sprinkled in. It was very sweet seeing Vivi and Rhys getting re-acquainted with each other after years apart and the ending was definitely an “aw” moment for me. Also all the magical hiccups and the cameos of a talking cat sprinkled throughout the story were hilarious. This was a 4 out of 4 star read for me.
